A tale of my 300c SRT8

So in 2000, fresh out of college, I bought my first car.  It was a brand new black dodge dakota 4.7L v8 4x4.  I bought it for both its function and its muscle and boy did it drive like a car.  From time to time found myself up against the occasional bmw and it held its ground well and occasionally won and other times it got smoked.  But its was a great truck and I loved it. 

About 10 years later, married with two kids, it was time to trade up.  At the time, the new Chevy Camero had just come out and being a transformer buff, I was seriously considering a top of the line SS.  Fortuantely, my wife wouldn't have it and told me that if I was going to buy a new car it needed to be a sedan with four doors so I could haul baby seats in it.  She suggested a Chrysler 300.  I thought to myself, alright well I think I can get some muscle in that car and I agreed that I would take a look at them.  About 2 years later, after much research, planning and negotiation, I found a 300c SRT8 in steel blue metallic on a lot in LA.  She was the black sheep of the bunch and with all her black, silver and red siblings getting all the attention, she hadn't seen a customer in over 40 days and the lot manager was eager to get rid of her.  Her list price was over 35k at the time but after some negotiation I was able to take her off the lot managers hands for a cool 26,500.  Not a bad deal! 

But being the black sheep of the family, I paid no nevermind to her siblings because I had plans for her that would set her appart from the rest and being unique in her Steel Metallic way would certainly make her stand out and scream.....

Just like my special sisters, I am all hemi.  I purr with the sound of a 6.1L, 370 ci v8 engine.  I wear the SRT8 badge proudly.  I was always beautiful and now I am even more so. Here are my curves in all their splended glory.
